The Jardin du Luxembourg

Created at the behest of Marie de Medici in the early 17th century to complement the Palais du Luxembourg, today the seat of the Senate, the Jardin du Luxembourg covers 23 hectares.

Bringing together a French-style garden, with its succession of flowerbeds, a pond and gravelled paths, and an English-style garden of elegant groves, it invites you to walk and relax. There are many statues to admire, and the magnificent Palais du Luxembourg watches over all that verdant splendour.

Hôtel des Arènes - Notre Dame de Paris

Notre Dame Cathedral

A true symbol of Paris, just like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral has loomed above the Île de la Cité for more than 850 years.

Its impressive Gothic facade, adorned with ornate portals and a large rose window, is extended by two square towers housing the famous bells. The setting of Victor Hugo's classic novel, this sacred building has hosted historic occasions such as the arrival of the Crown of Thorns in 1239 and the coronation of Napoleon in 1804.
